Appearance: Alema is a knockout, and she knows it. She is a beautiful blue twi’lek, and, like the rest of her species, uses her two nerve-filled headtails, or lekku, to help communicate as well maintain a better sense of her surroundings. She has almond shaped green eyes, slightly pointed teeth, and a killer body. Her eyebrows, however, are tattooed on to make her face more appealing to humans, as Twi'lek's have no body hair. She is average height, and, while slim, still quite muscular and fit. She moves very gracefully, and tends to dress in very tight, revealing clothing. Faint acid burn scars cover her back, and others surround the tips of her fingers.
Personality: Alema is an outrageous flirt, and will hit on pretty much anything male. She is aggressive, and has some pretty serious anger issues, especially when fighting. (Borderline Dark Side Alert!) She believes the ends justify the means and lives in the moment, focusing on getting what she wants, not necessarily the Jedi way. She's not necessarily a bad person, she has just been incredibly shaped by her experiences. Being a child sex slave, for example, has seriously warped her self image, and since it was imprinted on her at a very young and influential age that she is nothing but a pleasure object she is quite a slut, to put it bluntly. She does enjoy the fact that she now has the freedom to choose her own males, but she also has been brought up to believe that she is always on display, should always flirt, and is only worth what others think she is. She does, however, possess quite a sense of humor, and loves friendly teasing and jokes. She makes friends quickly and enjoys spending time with them, but is not always the most loyal person. She has a great deal of undercover work, and it shows; she is very serious and quick thinking in a crisis and is good at improvising plans or coming up with new ones on the spot. In short, Alema is her own personal, rather unique twist on the femme fatale, and she wouldn't have it any other way.

Abilities/Strengths: Alema is a Jedi, and as such can use the Force with ease, as well as a lightsaber. She is also skilled in espionage and undercover work. She loves dancing, and moves very gracefully as a result. She is also a quick thinker, and very ruthless in a fight. She has a Force-enchanced talent for remaining undetected and unnoticed, and is able to use the Force Flash technique to hide her presence from security cameras and computers, as while as hide herself from the sight of those around her, even in their thoughts or memories.
Notable Possessions: Alema’s most important possession is her silver bladed lightsaber, although she is not above tossing it out to escape detection as a Jedi in a tight spot. She relies very little on material items, mostly because she is so fully aware of how easily they can be taken away, and knows she can survive without them. There is nothing she owns that she would be upset to loose.
Weaknesses: Alema’s greatest weakness is her anger and aggression, which she has a hard time controlling. (And doesn’t really want to, either.) She almost always gives in to them when fighting, and is always a few steps away from the Dark Side. She has very little control over any of her feelings, and often lets them control her instead. Her flirty nature can also get her in trouble, but she’s never let that stop her.

History: Alema and her sister Numa grew up in the spice dens of Ryloth as pleasure slaves and dancing girls. They suffered horrible abuse, especially at such a young age, and came to depend on each other for support and survival. While visiting her homeworld, the Jedi knight Daeshara’cor recognized the girls, now adolescents, as having Force potential and freed them, taking them on as apprentices and training them. When the Yuuzhan Vong invaded, though, Daeshara’cor was one of the first Jedi killed. Alema was heartbroken by the loss of her mentor and the first person to truly value her as a person, and wanted vengeance. The sisters led a resistance movement on New Plympton during the invasion, successfully opposing their oppressors for over a year. It was too successful, however, and the Vong finally tired of the games and released destructive bio agents on the planet, annihilating all but a few hundred survivors. The two sisters managed to escape aboard one of the refugee ships, but the Vong captured it and released a Jedi hunting voxyn aboard it. It tracked them down, and killed Nume with a spray of flesh corroding acid even as Alema dragged her aboard an escape pod.

Although she was rescued by Jaina Solo and Mara Jade Skywalker soon afterwards and able to recover from her own injuries, Alema was consumed by anger and the desire to avenge her sister’s death. She joined the Jedi Strike Team mission to the Yuuzhan Vong worldship above Myrkr to attempt to destroy the genetic material used to clone and create the voxyn. The team was sharply divided, with Alema siding with Raynar Thul and the others calling for more aggressive measures both in the mission and throughout the war. She was tortured by the Yuuzhan Vong, along with the other strike team members, and struck back aggressivly once they escaped. She developed an interest in Anakin Solo and flirted with him heavily over the course of the journey, much to the annoyance of Tahiri Veila. She also listened a great deal to Lomi Plo and Welk, the Dark Jedi they rescued aboard the worldship who agreed to act as their guides.

She was one of the few Jedi who survived the mission, and traveled to Hapes with the rest of the Strike Team during their escape. She then traveled with the Solo’s to Borleias, manning the gun turret during the decent, and participating in the string of battles that took place there over the next few months. Afterwards, she and Lando Calrissian teamed up for an undercover mission aboard a refugee ship that they suspected would be betrayed to the Yuuzhan Vong. Posing as a member of the Peace Brigade, Alema forced the captain into hiding, then enticed the Vong aboard with promises of hidden Jedi training materials, leading them to the hold where they were killed by Lando’s YVH droids. She also fought at the Battle of Ebaq 9, and flew a Sekotan seed ship to defend Zonama Sekot during the Second Battle of Coruscant.

After the war finally ended, Alema was unsure what to do with herself. Her entire life had been shaped by nothing but violence and death and even though there was still work to be done rebuilding she was not sure how to cope with peace. Before she could work on figuring out an answer, she was transfered to Econtra.
